Born in Mountain View, California, in 1989, I’m an artist who specializes in wet media such as watercolor and acrylic ink. My drawings and paintings are representational narratives, influenced by the Expressionists and genre art. I combine the abstract and literal to depict scenes of myself and associated individuals in their routine privacy. There’s a varying degree of distortion in my figures, and themes often include family, solitude, and anxiety.
