Graphic Design

I am a researcher, sketcher, and thinker that uses these skills to my advantage in my process. I developed an affinity for design first through the world of book covers, and have kept a passion for typography and editorial design which shines through in my work. While fond of bold uses of color, a healthy amount of quirk, and notes of cartoonish whimsy, my work as a designer is heavily research-based; each project takes visual cues from what its roots require. Each project has a different goal and audience, but the purpose of my work is always to solve a problem. I strive to curate design systems that are straightforward but moving. The primary motivation behind this is because I can do it, so I will. My personal and professional creed as a designer is to do no harm, honor the human experience, and respect the user through my creative work.

My personal and academic projects showcase my proficiency in publishing, creating marketing materials, and proofreading. Recognized by Adobe through my selection for their Creative Retreat in Los Angeles, I am motivated by collaborating with other designers and creative individuals. Fluent in English and Spanish, and studying Japanese, I am dedicated to being a lifelong learner who is always curious about the world around me. I am enthused to connect with you through design, research, and illustration and broaden my horizons ever further.
