Hello! My name is Katie Ngo. I am a 3D Environment Artist who focuses on stylized-PBR assets. I have always wanted to pursue a career as a game artist since childhood. My time at Laguna College of Art and Design solidified my passion for creating 3D environments and achieve a strong understanding of the game development pipeline from start to finish. I've gained extensive knowledge in a variety of applications such as Autodesk 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop, ZBrush, Marmoset Toolbag, Marvelous Designer, Jira, SpeedTree, Houdini, 3DCoat, Unreal, and Unity Game Engines.
For almost four years, I've been studying under the instruction of professionals in the industry. Since then, I've become equipped with industry-standard workflows I've utilized throughout all my projects. Additionally, I can balance artistic vision with technical constraints through optimization techniques and maximize performance. From material creation to lighting and rendering, world-building, set-dressing, and even storytelling, I pour my heart and soul into every project I am assigned. My ability to transform concept art and illustration into stunning 3D masterpieces is one of my most powerful skills as an artist.
