Hello friends! My name is Alex (Ale) Layne Bacon and I’m here because I’m passionate about storytelling and design for comics and TV animation.

My goal is to create worlds and characters that are fantastic yet familiar, that explore the complicated aspects of life while maintaining levity and relatability. I pride myself on my simple, expressive art style that is easy to replicate for animated shows or sequential storytelling and easy to adapt to the style of any project required.

I currently have 4+ years of part-time experience on an animated show, and currently I’m eager to break into the animation industry in earnest to observe the animation pipeline up close. I hope to one day work as an art director for an illustrated comic or animated project, and in the meantime, I will continue to create and develop stories that I’m passionate about and help others do the same.
