Animation

It is my lifelong goal of mine to give the gift to others that animation and art has given me: passion and purpose.

I was heavily influenced by early internet culture, 2000's anime, flash games and virtual worlds, indie animators, fandom spaces, and my Nintendo DS; I was absorbed in fictional worlds and it fueled my passion to become an artist and create stories for others. As I grew up with a restless mind, it didn’t take long for me to begin building countless stories, worlds and characters on my own.

By the time I had applied for LCAD, I had not only fallen in love with animation, but every aspect of what brings an animated story to life. I started to teach myself music, character designs, story writing, logos, script writing, and many more. I applied to major in animation, not specifically to become an animator, but so I could be an ideal director/producer and have a deeper understanding of the animation industry. I have written, developed and designed about 12 different concepts for an animated TV series or short films.

The number one goal I have ever strived for is to truly bring them to life someday as an animation director or producer. My dream is to give the gift to others that animation has given to me- passion and purpose. I have extremely strong desires for my passion in storytelling to one day be recognized.
